Nomhle’s Biography

Nomhle Mujakachi Nomhle Mujakachi is part of the Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Alumni, a Business Woman, Human Rights Advocate, Philanthropist and Speaker. She is Managing Director of Shield Technologies Africa and Non-Executive Board Member of the African Community Fund for Education.

Nomhle is an emerging markets business strategist and information technology management executive with 18 years of IT industry experience in a number of IT multinational corporations covering multiple geographies in Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

Nomhle is a Consultant in the Renewable Energy Sector. She wrote the Renewable Energy Technology Park (RETPark) Concept Paper, conducted and compiled two Renewable Energy Market Research Reports. The first one was written as part of the RETPark Prefeasibility Study, covering the SADC region and focused on Solar Energy Technologies. The second  was written specifically for the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) markets and covered Geothermal, Solar and Hydro Energy.

In the formative years of her career, Nomhle completed a year in the finance department of a large UK based Civil Engineering firm and also worked part-time as a Marketing & Media Consultant and Presenter for a TV Station.

Today, Nomhle's passion and diverse experience in the Media, Engineering and IT industries converge to bring a wealth of value she contributes to the organizations and projects that she is involved in. 

Studying towards an MBA in Energy Management & Sustainability, Nomhle has a Bachelor in Business Administration Degree, several IT and Business certifications.
